Description:
The portrait of Edoardo is part of a group of works that Pascucci created for the Paggi family, a Jewish family from Pitigliano.
The man, a country doctor in a village in the Sienese countryside, is depicted standing with his gaze directed at the viewer. He holds a cigar in his left hand and leans against a sideboard.
The group of works, donated to the Municipality of Grosseto in 1971 at the request of Mario Paggi and his wife Olga Lessana, was presumably created in the second decade of the twentieth century.
