Description:
The artwork shows a verdant landscape with a seated farmer resting.
This watercolor was acquired along with another watercolor, presumably one depicting Autumn, by the Municipality of Grosseto in 1937, through the testamentary bequest of Dr. Efisio Bellucci.
The bequest, recorded in testamentary decree 388, indicated the value (1000 lire) and the subject of the paintings: "two seasons", presumably autumn and summer.
