Description:
This large room painting, by one of the most important Lombard Baroque painters, depicts a scene taken from the book “Orlando Furioso” (1516) written by Ludovico Ariosto.
The princess Angelica take care of the Saracen soldier Medoro.
As a result of their love, the Protagonist Orlando in love with Angelica, will go crazy for the jealousy.
The painting was the last acquisition by Gianfranco Luzzetti for this museum.
